Description

Health Enrichment Center is a therapeutic massage school that teaches basic massage therapy technique and practice. Its academics provide hands-on training in the classroom and patients in one of HEC’s on-site clinics.

The center offers the Therapeutic Massage Diploma Program, a 700-hour course designed to give students a broad understanding of massage therapy. The curriculum includes the following subjects:

  • Swedish Massage
  • Medical Massage
  • Reflexology
  • Asian & Energy Methods
  • Deep Tissue & Trigger Points
  • Special Populations Massage

Scheduling for the diploma program is flexible. Health Enrichment Center offers 12-month or 18-month tracks, with three start dates throughout the year.

Financial aid opportunities at Health Enrichment Center include state grants and private assistance. The Michigan Rural Rehabilitation Corporation and Lapeer County Bank & Trust are good options for student loans. Eligible students can apply for an interest-free tuition payment plan, as well.

Before you apply to Health Enrichment Center, make sure you meet the school’s admissions requirements. All applicants must be at least 18 years old, with a high school diploma or GED. Additionally, to benefit from the curriculum you must be physically capable and fluent in English.
