Lanier Tech is a private school which grants certification in a large number of health, beauty and technical fields. Programs are offered for both adults and high school students.

Lanier offers classes online for students both within and beyond the Oakwood parameters. Lanier Tech’s on-site classes employ multiple means of instruction. Using the most up-date industry equipment and materials, Lanier’s classes combine work-based activities with study.

Another means of instruction that Lanier offers is the “Heroes Lunch n’ Learn” series. These are lunchtime presentations, given by industry professionals, that provide students with information on such topics as dressing for an interview, money-management techniques and workplace ethics and etiquette.

Career services offer career counseling, placement testing and assessment. They also provide all students and alumni with access to their internet-based employment search program.

Financial aid offerings include the Georgia HOPE Grant for Georgia-state residents and the Special Populations assistance program intended for those from exceptional family backgrounds such as single-parent families. These and other options are available to students who qualify.
