Located in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, Marymount College is a private, Catholic school that offers traditional undergraduate academics as well as alternative programs for adult learners.

Students at Marymount may earn bachelor’s degrees in arts-related subject areas such as Visual Art, Film and Theatre. Additional bachelor’s degrees are offered in such disciplines as Business, Psychology and Biomedical Science.

Weekend and evening bachelor’s degree programs for working adults are also available.

Marymount also offers a number of associate’s degrees. These are ideal for students who would like to try out a major before transferring into one of Marymount’s four-year programs or to a program offered at another four-year school. Associate’s degrees are awarded in everything from Ethnic Studies to Sociology to Pre-Nursing.

Marymount’s student activities include art exhibits, a campus ministry, community service offerings and student organizations, which include a Dance Club, the Green Students Association, an organization for Muslim students and a toastmaster’s club.

Applicants to Marymount can expect to be evaluated primarily by their grades, recommendation letters, personal essay and SAT scores.

Financial aid is available through different sources and is based on financial need and other requirements.
