Grand River Technical School (GRTS) in Chillicothe, Missouri, offers vocational training and comprehensive supportive services to its students.

GRTS students may train for such careers and industries as:

  • Agriculture
  • Auto technology
  • Business technology
  • Emergency medical services
  • Industrial maintenance

In an attempt to accommodate parents wanting to start or continue their postsecondary education, GRTS offers childcare services free of charge to all students with children. GRTS staff members also do their best to help students find affordable housing, as well.

GRTS also assists graduates by offering lifetime career-placement, so that students and alumni may find employment in their field.

Many GRTS students receive some type of financial aid. Aid packages could include Pell grants and student loans. To apply for these, applicants must submit a FAFSA. Unemployed individuals or those facing economic or other challenges may receive additional aid. Students whose academic performance is exceptional may receive a tuition waiver.

GRTS applicants should submit an admissions application with transcripts or a copy of their GED.
