The Regency Beauty Institute in Columbia, South Carolina aims to produce tomorrow’s cosmetologists through a skill-based curriculum under the guidance of professional cosmetologists in upscale facilities. New classes begin at regular intervals all throughout the year, so you can jump right in whenever you’re ready.
Regency focuses on not only teaching you a variety of cosmetology skills like haircutting, hairstyling, nail care, and skin care, but also in providing an education in the sciences behind cosmetology, like chemistry, anatomy, physiology, and salon and retail management.
The program consists of a combination of classroom study, mannequin practice, and professional experience performing on the salon floor.
As professional cosmetologists, Regency instructors understand the importance of a little creativity in the career, which is why Regency seeks to bring out the artistic side of every student. To succeed in an ever-evolving beauty career, cosmetologists must bring fresh skills and perspectives. It is a priority of Regency to encourage them.
Regency offers job placement assistance to all graduates. Even while you’re a student, you’ll be a part of the SalonPartners program, a nationwide network of salons and industry leaders, and have the opportunity to make career contacts while enrolled.
Eligible students may receive financial aid through the FAFSA and possibly other sources.
