At the John Wesley International Barber and Beauty College in Long Beach, California, future stylists can benefit from traditional and highly innovative career programs.
Two standard programs in Cosmetology and Barbering prepare students to work as hairstylists or barbers in salons and barber shops.
In addition to those programs, John Wesley also offers a unique “crossover” program in which students learn both the Barbering and Cosmetology trades and expand their knowledge and future professional opportunities.
All of John Wesley’s students spend a significant amount of time in the school salon, cutting, styling and coloring hair under supervision of faculty.
Students also benefit from the Career Services Department’s job placement assistance program, which helps students who are about to graduate to find full-time work.
With open enrollment available, John Wesley is accessible to any student who meets the minimum age requirements, has a high school diploma or GED and a serious interested in the styling and barbering industries.
Financial aid and monthly tuition payment plans are also available to qualifying students.
