Description
A private Christian school, Florida College’s best strength is its intimate educational environment. The college maintains a student-to-faculty ratio of about 10:1, with a total enrollment under 500. Even its admissions process is personalized, with an admissions team that works with you throughout your application.
Many student clubs and organizations are present on campus, but the center of student life at Florida College is faith. Chapel and other school-sponsored activities are designed to enhance the college’s spiritual community.
Florida College’s academics are also based on Christianity. The college consists offers about a half-dozen bachelor’s degree programs:
- Biblical Studies
- Business Administration
- Communication
- Education
- Liberal Studies
- Music
Many of these programs have optional sub-concentrations. For example, students in the Biblical Studies program can specialize in New Testament or Biblical Education, while students in the Business Administration program can choose to specialize in Sports Management.
Federal programs are the main source of financial aid at Florida College. Make sure you file a FAFSA to determine your eligibility for these need-based grants and loans. Various departmental and endowed scholarships can also substantially reduce the cost of tuition.
