The primary mission of the college is to respond to the needs of the community and region through the development of programs designed to prepare qualified health care professionals in continuing and high demand fields. The College is committed to providing an environment supportive of student learning and instilling a belief that learning is a life long process. Upon completion of their education, students will demonstrate the ability to think critically, communicate effectively, accept human diversity, and deliver health care safely.
As an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing Program, our curriculum is intended to develop individuals to function as generalists in the profession of registered nursing. Upon completion of the program, individuals are academically and clinically prepared to take the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nursing (NCLEX-RN).
