Hair Academy II was established over 30 years ago with the single mission to provide DC-area residents with high quality cosmetology education. The school prides itself on its professionalism the success of its graduates.
The school offers full-time and part-time academics. There are a variety of class schedules to suit your needs, including day and night classes. Depending on the schedule you choose, the course can be completed in 9.5 to 18.5 months.
The 1500-hour Cosmetology course covers basic and advanced techniques in hairstyling, makeup, skincare, manicuring and pedicuring. For the first 350 hours, you’ll learn in the classroom as a junior student. Then, for the remainder of your time at Hair Academy II, you’ll gain practical experience working on customers at the school’s clinic.
Hair Academy participates in federal financial aid programs, including grants and loans. The school does not offer scholarships, but students can apply for scholarships and grants funded by the state of Maryland.
