Red River Technology Center offers career-training programs for residents of all ages in Duncan, Oklahoma.
Some of Red River Technology Center’s short-term medical courses prepare students for such careers as:
- Nurse’s aide
- Medication aide
- Emergency medical technician
- Phlebotomy technician
Students may also pursue longer programs of study in fields like:
- Automotive Technology
- Practical Nursing
Red River Technology Center also offers a course in GED preparation.
Red River Technology Center’s student services division helps students to look for and find jobs, transfer to four-year colleges, prepare resumes and interviews and develop proper study habits.
GED-prep classes are free of charge. Students in other programs of study may obtain financial assistance from such organizations as Vocational Rehabilitation and Workforce Oklahoma. Tuition scholarships and Pell grants are also available.
High school students who wish to attend Red River must live within certain school districts, including Duncan, Empire, Grandview, Marlow, Ryan and Temple.
