Southern Career College in Jacksonville, Florida, is a place where Florida residents get training that combines preparation for some of today’s most in-demand professions.
Training programs at Southern Career College prepare students for such occupations as:

Alongside the training they receive in their chosen field of study, all students also receive instruction in important business and marketing skills needed to find and stay in a job.
Students also get assistance with job placement from the career services department when it comes time to graduate and look for work.
The only admissions requirements are a high school diploma or GED. In addition to an application, applicants must submit a transcript or their GED scores. An interview is also required of all prospective students.
Southern Career College offers several scholarship programs such as the Imagine America Scholarship, which requires a minimum grade point average of 2.5, a history of community service activities and demonstrated financial need. Southern Career also has a scholarship for active military and one for adult students. Additional need-based financial aid awards like grants and loans may be available through the FAFSA.
