Description

Located in Hackensack, New Jersey, Parisian Beauty Academy is part of the Paul Mitchell system of schools. This massive educational network emphasizes individualized instruction, creative growth and professional development.

Parisian Beauty Academy offers different programs to suit its students’ diverse needs:

  • Cosmetology
  • Skin Academy
  • Teacher Training

The Cosmetology course is the academy’s most comprehensive. This program teaches every aspect of working in the beauty industry, following the Paul Mitchell educational model of Core, Adapt, Creative.

The Core section is the introductory segment, teaching foundational skills and theory. In the Adaptive segment, you’ll learn the practical side of things, including customer service and retailing. Lastly, the Creative segment teaches advanced techniques and prepares you for the state board exam and your future career.

The Skin Academy and Teacher Training programs are shorter in length. At the Skin Academy, you’ll learn in a hands-on environment the skills required to become a licensed skin care specialist. The Teacher Training course is designed for currently licensed cosmetologists, and fulfills New Jersey’s teacher licensing requirements.

Parisian Beauty Academy participates in federal financial aid, all of which is need-based. The school also offers payment plans to help you fund your education.
