UW Tacoma Description
Part of the three-campus University of Washington system, UW Tacoma offers a variety of academics in a quaint urban setting. The campus is integrated with the city of Tacoma, so student life is balanced between school activities and the experience of the city.The University of Washington at Tacoma currently offers about 30 undergraduate programs of study. A wide variety of subjects are available; however, if none of them suit your interests, you can design your own concentration.
Graduate degree programs are also available in the following fields:

The university also provides professional development courses in several subjects, including contract management, environmental law and IT security.
In addition to federal financial aid programs like grants, loans and work-study, UW Tacoma sponsors a number of institutional scholarships, most of which are based on merit.
The school also features the Husky Promise, which pays for tuition and fees not covered by need-based government aid. This program is open to Pell-eligible Washington residents in good academic standing.
