Description

Otero Junior College offers programs to suit a variety of needs. Whether you’re looking to earn an associate’s degree, or you simply want to bridge the gap between high school and college, OJC has several convenient and accessible programs to help you meet your goals.

At the core of Otero Junior College is the firm belief that everybody has the right to an education. As such, the school follows an open-door admissions policy. While admission to specific programs is not guaranteed, students of at least 16 years of age qualify for automatic admission to the college.

Otero Junior College strives to keep its tuition low, but financial aid is also available to help you finance your education. The college funds several scholarships based on a variety of criteria. Additionally, students can apply for local and state scholarships, as well federal grants and loans through the FAFSA.

OJC administers its academics through the following departments:

*Arts
*Business Technologies
*Nursing
*Math & Science
*Service & Technology

The school offers two-year certificate programs. However, if you’re interested in transferring to a four-year institution, Otero Junior College has 2+2 transfer agreements with several Colorado universities, including CSU Fort Collins, Adams State College and Mid-America Christian University.
