If you want to be a student at one of the nation’s top universities, but prefer the atmosphere of a small liberal arts college, then the Ohio State University’s Marion School in Marion, Ohio, may be a great place for you.

You’ll receive all the resources available on both the Marion and Columbus campuses, like libraries, research facilities, student organizations, and more.

Even though the Marion location is quainter, students still have access to more than 170 different fields of study in seven different categories, including:

Unique to the Marion location is the Alber Enterprise Center, a resource designed to aid businesses and their employees in working up to their full potential and consistently improving business performance.

In addition, Ohio State—Marion also has an Academic Enrichment Center, where students can receive help with writing in any subject through its Writing Center, assistance in math in Math Labs, and one-on-one or small group tutoring.

The university also offers a number of outreach opportunities, from science fairs to pride and life skills mentoring programs.

Applications are available online at the Ohio State—Marion website. An application fee applies. Admissions also require that students have a high school diploma or GED, or a minimum GPA for transfer students.

Eligible students may receive financial aid through the FAFSA or through Marion campus scholarships.
