Description

The Arlington Medical Institute in Arlington, Texas, is committed to serving both students and the community by providing only the highest quality health care education. The school acknowledges that every student is unique and can contribute something different to the field, which is why it provides individual attention to students in all programs.

The institute offers three programs: Registered Medical Assistant, Registered EKG Technician, and Registered Phlebotomy Technician.

In all programs students are trained in lab procedures, clinical skills and office administration. In addition, students receive a background education in anatomy and physiology, CPR and light typing. The clinical work is completed in Arlington’s professional facility, giving students real world experience before they embark on a professional career or externship.

Upon completion of the Registered Medical Assistant program, students will be ready to take the National Registered/Certified exams for an EKG Technician and Phlebotomy Technician in addition to the Medical Assistant examinations. Earning of these certifications help Arlington students stand out from others in their job search.

The AMI staff provides career services like developing interview skills, resume preparation, and exposure to employers to all students. Graduates receive placement assistance through AMI’s contacts in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

Financial aid is available to eligible students through a number of sources. Contact the Arlington Medical Institute for more information, or to learn about admissions procedures.
