Description

At Western Technical College (WTC) there is a huge number of both broad and highly specified degree and certification programs from which to choose. You also have instructors who are not only qualified in their professionals, but qualified to teach as well.

Located in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, WTC offers associate’s degrees and career certifications through on-site, online and blended courses. One may receive a degree or certificate in agricultural, business, medical, architectural, mechanical and public safety fields, among others. One may obtain a certificate in something as broad as Paralegal Studies or a field as specific as Bio-Medical Electronics.

The teachers at Western Technical College all come equipped with a wealth of experience in their profession. However, unlike most post-secondary schools which only require professional expertise, WTC requires that each instructor also receive teacher certification.

At WTC, classes are interactive and involve hands-on learning through classroom activities and internships.

Services include career counseling, child care, assistance for adult learners, minorities and disabled students, and an online writing center and math lab.

Financial aid options are numerous and include an academic grant as well as grants for eligible minority students, Native American students, and hearing or vision impaired students. There are also scholarships, a work-study program and student loans for those who qualify.
