Description

At Lacy Cosmetology School in Aiken, South Carolina, students learn more than academics and theory. Almost exclusively hands-on in its approach, Lacy School of Cosmetology has students begin their professional training immediately.

Lacy Cosmetology School does this by putting students in the school’s professional salon starting on the first day. Here, students are able to jump right in and immediately apply techniques and skills as they learn them. Throughout the program, students remain in the salon, applying what they learn at every stage of their training.

Incoming students may also begin their program almost as soon as they apply: Lacy’s School of Cosmetology accepts new applications on a daily basis and admits new students every other week. The only requirement to enter is a high school diploma or GED and a sincere desire to work in Cosmetology.

Applicants are encouraged to visit Lacy’s School of Cosmetology during the week. At that time, they can observe classes and salon sessions and speak with instructors, staff and students.

When they visit Lacy’s School of Cosmetology, applicants may also discuss financial aid prospects, which include Pell grants and loans.

Those who live outside of the Aiken region may also investigate one of Lacy’s other campuses in Lexington, Goose Creek and Charleston.

I would have been better off throwing my money out the window driving down I-26. This is a total waste of money. Jay Lacy only cares about getting our money his instructors are horrible I think a blind monkey knows more about cutting hair then this school and staff. I went to the Goose Creek School but I also worked for them and they are all just as bad. I would warn anybody to find another school this guy and his schools are crooks PERIOD

I am a graduate from lacy's who has had a very fulfilling career. I now work at the Lacy"s in West Ashley. It is a wonderful facility and would be a great school for anyone interested in a career in hair.
