NCA Description

Northwest College of Art and Design (NCAD) in Poulsbo, Washington, provides a unique combination of creative arts instruction and practical career preparation and guidance. NCAD’s scenic location is also ideal for the visual arts student, offering much esthetic stimulation and inspiration.

Since NCAD is committed to combining an artistically inspiring education with career preparation, NCAD students have the benefit of a creatively stimulating environment with numerous studio spaces. They also have the practical support of the school’s career placement division.

Financial aid is awarded to students with a strong financial need who are U.S. citizens and in good standing with the Department of Education. Financial aid sources include Pell grants, work-study and loans. Most financial aid packages combine several of these sources.

Those applying for admissions must submit an application, transcripts, a portfolio and an essay. A second essay is required if the applicant’s grade point average is below 2.5.
