As one of four regional campuses in The Ohio State University system, Ohio State Lima combines the strength of the university’s programs and faculty with the appeal of a small college atmosphere. Students who enroll at Lima have the option to take the first two years toward most Ohio State degrees and then move on to Columbus, or they can choose to stay at Ohio State Lima and earn a bachelor’s degree in biology, business, education, English, family financial management, history, health sciences/health management, or psychology. Students can also earn a master’s in education, the arts, or social work. Opportunities to get involved in campus life are just as numerous—from student clubs and organizations to intramural and club athletic teams. The Lima campus maintains Ohio State's Land Grant tradition of making higher education accessible to traditional and non-traditional students, valuing diversity and reaching out to the surrounding community.
Ohio State Lima provides a wide range of educational and training opportunities, backed by the strength of the main campus in Columbus. Class sizes are small and the world-class faculty excels at teaching.
Students can begin any of the University's more than 170 majors at Ohio State Lima. They can also complete the coursework for ten Bachelor's degree programs and Master's programs in Education and Social Work. Ohio State Lima also provides a significant resource to local companies for continual employees’ skills upgrades and lifelong learning.

From Wikipedia, The Free EncyclopediaThe Ohio State University at Lima campus in Allen County, Ohio is a regional campus of the Ohio State University. It is not an independent institution. Its campus is located in Lima, south of Toledo, Ohio. It offers over 140 courses and 10 bachelor degree programs in science and liberal Arts. Eight of ten programs are 4-year programs at Lima. Two of them are baccalaureate completion programs. In addition to regional accreditation, Ohio State Lima has baccalaureate program accreditation with NCATE. Students can start at Lima and finish their degrees at the Columbus campus with one of Ohio State’s 170+ majors, but few are qualified to do so. The Ohio State University at Lima offers over 20 student clubs and organizations and 10 intramural and club athletic teams, but has an extraordinarily weak faculty.
The Lima Campus Library has approximately 80,000 books, microform items, CDs, and videos, and online access to nearly 200 subscriptions databases. The University shares the campus with James A. Rhodes State College.
