Three Rivers Community College is a public, comprehensive community college located in southeast Missouri. The college serves a variety of higher educational needs for the residents of the college district and the surrounding area. The college has the philosophy that educational opportunities should be accessible and available regardless of economic, social, motivational, physical, and geographical barriers. In support of this philosophy the college maintains an open admissions policy, actively develops financial aid resources, emphasizes quality in teaching and counseling for students, and offers classes off campus. Finally, the college believes that education is not only a preparation to earn a living but is also a way of life.

Three Rivers Community College is celebrating four decades of excellence and service of providing accessable, affordable and quality learning opportunities to Southeast Missouri. TRCC was founded in Poplar Bluff in 1967 when voters in the counties of Butler, Carter, Ripley and Wayne approved the TRCC taxing district.

Three Rivers Community College serves the people of Southeast Missouri - reaching from Ozark hills to the flat Delta in Missouri's Bootheel and from the crystal clear waters of the Big Spring to the Mississippi River. Since its establishment, Three Rivers has grown with the needs of the communities in the service region. In addition to the main campus in Poplar Bluff, TRCC has in-district centers in Doniphan, Piedmont and Van Buren, and full-service center in Campbell, Kennett, Malden, Portageville and Sikeston. In addition, TRCC offers classes at sites throughout the region, including at many high schools throughout Southeast Missouri. TRCC also offers e-learning opportunities with a wide variety of courses on-line.


Student housing is provided on campus through the Rivers Ridge Apartments.
Students choosing to live in Rivers Ridge share a completely furnished apartment that includes four private bedrooms, two baths, furnished kitchen and living room area. Internet access is provided to each unit, and recreational facilities such as a swimming pool, sand volleyball court, and the Rivers Ridge Clubhouse are available.

Three Rivers Community College (or TRCC) is a community college in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, USA.

Three Rivers Community College provides quality, accessible, affordable learning opportunities and services for academic scholarship and professional success. The college was founded in 1967 when voters in the counties of Butler, Carter, Ripley and Wayne approved the TRCC taxing district.

TRCC is governed by a Board of Trustees elected by the people in the college taxing district of Butler, Carter, Ripley and Wayne counties. The college has an 80-acre campus in Poplar Bluff, Missouri with centers in Campbell, Doniphan, Kennett, Malden, Piedmont, Portageville, Sikeston and Van Buren. The school is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
