Heald is regionally accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the US Department of Education.
Because Heald is regionally accredited, it has articulation agreements with other regionally accredited institutions that accept Heald credits toward bachelor’s degree programs. This means that you can transfer your credits if you choose to pursue further education.*
Heald is also an authorized provider of educational programs that help students prepare for official certification from industry leaders, such as Microsoft® (MCSE®) and Cisco® (CCNA® and CCNP®).
The Heald College Health Information Technology Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIIM).
