With a strong undergraduate research program, UW Whitewater provides great opportunities for those interested in research. In fact, undergraduates may even apply for a research grant for projects in the sciences, humanities, education and the arts.

Social and cultural activities on campus run the gamut from student art exhibits, music ensembles and drama performances to recreational activities to more than 160 student clubs and organizations. The university also has a recreational facility, which features entertainment, dining areas and a bowling and pool hall.

Freshmen applicants are expected to have taken a college prep curriculum in high school. A completed application with transcripts will need to be submitted.

In addition to federal sources of financial aid like loans and grants, students may apply for campus, corporate and private scholarships. A FAFSA must be completed by students seeking federal aid.
