Also, eligible entering freshmen that excelled in high school and on the SAT will automatically receive a scholarship that covers a substantial part of their tuition.

Other sources of financial aid may be applied for as well, including federal grants and loans as well as Cleveland State University grants.

General undergraduate admissions requirements include a minimum grade point average of 2.3. Individual departments, such as the Engineering Division, the Education and Human Services Division and the Music Department have additional requirements.

Those applying for Music, for example, will need to audition while those in Engineering are required to have a higher grade point average than those in other departments.
