Invest 12 months of study at Crawford County Career and Technical Center and you can get a degree in one of the fastest-growing fields. Crawford County’s Practical Nursing program also employs students in a variety of clinical settings so that they get the practical experience necessary to thrive in the field.
Located in Meadville, Pennsylvania, Crawford County’s Practical Nursing program features small classes to optimize student learning. Learning also takes place in a hands-on environment with hands-on activities. Simulated medical facilities with current medical equipment and tools allow students to perform procedures that help prepare them for clinical experience.
Clinical assignments are undertaken at such places as Meadville Medical Center, Crawford County Care Center as well as home health agencies, doctor’s offices and other healthcare facilities.
Admission requirements include a high school diploma or GED and a pre-entrance test. Some previous coursework in Nursing is also preferred.
When students apply they are also given instructions and guidance in the financial aid application process.
