Description
National Personal Training Institute (NPTI) in Columbus, Ohio, offers a unique program for aspiring personal trainers that combines intensive academic study with extensive professional experience.
The academic portion of National Personal Training’s curriculum includes a study of anatomy and physiology, training and exercise techniques, nutrition, and business.
Students also spend a substantial amount of each school day actually working in a gym or other fitness facility.
In addition, as students prepare to graduate they may receive job-placement assistance, regardless of whether they plan to stay in Ohio or relocate to another part of the country.
Those seeking admission must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, and get a medical clearance from a medical professional. No special courses or educational background are required. Those who do plan to apply are encouraged to attend one of the school’s open-house sessions.
Veteran’s benefits and private loans for those who qualify are the two forms of financial aid available. Various tuition payment plans may also be arranged.
