Whether you’re in or out of high school, Guilford Community College in Jamestown, North Carolina offers associate’s degrees and certificates in some of the most valuable technical fields.With more than 60 programs leading to a degree or certificate, at Guilford you can pursue a course of study in everything from Nursing to Furniture Upholstery to Veterinary Science to Auto Body Repair.
Guilford also offers a “Career Tech Prep” program, which allows students still in high school to start pursuing their chosen technical degree by taking courses at Guilford. And with two additional campuses in Greensboro and High Point, taking those courses is that much easier.
Guilford provides extensive academic and career support to its full and part-time students. The Learning Assistance Center, located on all three campuses, provides professional and peer tutoring and academic guidance.
The career services center offers career-guidance, resume preparation and post-college career placement among other services.
As a commuter school, on-campus housing is not offered at Guilford, nor are meal plans.
Financial aid offerings include the tuition assistance program for “Career Tech Prep” students. Students not still in high school may receive aid in the form of loans, grants and scholarships, including those for former/current military. Financial aid is available to eligible students.
