Calumet College of St. Joseph is a degree-granting, Catholic institution of higher education sponsored by the Missionaries of the Precious Blood (C.PP.S.). Its main campus is in Whiting, Indiana, with additional campuses located in Chicago, Illinois, and Merrillville, Indiana. The college was founded in 1951 as an extension of Saint Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Indiana. The school's total enrollment in 2006 was 1,236.

Calumet College of St. Joseph's athletic teams are known as the Crimson Wave. They compete in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference, an affiliate of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. Men's sports offered are baseball, basketball, bowling, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, and track and field. Women's sports offered are basketball, bowling, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, track and field, and volleyball.
Calumet College of St. Joseph began offering athletic programs in 2001.
