Bon Secours Memorial School of Nursing teaches the profession as both an art and a science.
Our School is proud to be part of Bon Secours Virginia Health System, a Catholic not-for-profit community based health care organization - and one of the nation’s best-performing integrated health systems. Our mission is providing “good help to those in need.”
At Bon Secours Memorial School of Nursing, our students, faculty, staff and alumni are part of a nearly 200-year-old mission of providing compassionate care to those in need. Beginning in the 1800’s, the Sisters of Bon Secours (“Good Help”) provided care to the sick and dying in Paris, France. From those humble beginnings, the mission has grown into an international healthcare organization. Our School extends this mission by educating nurses in a spirit of academic and clinical excellence to serve our community with genuine compassion and the highest clinical standards. We are deeply committed to meeting the needs of our patients and adapting to the growing, changing needs of world in which we serve.
Bon Secours Memorial School of Nursing enrolls entry level students twice a year. The application deadline for Fall semester (which begins in September, 2009) was June 1. This class is at capacity and we are unable to accept additional students for Fall. The deadline for Spring semester is October 1. By this date, all admissions materials are due to us, as well as results of the pre-admission TEAS test. Please begin the application process as early as possible to allow ample time for your materials to be received and to allow time for successful completion of the TEAS.
