Shorter University is a four-year Christian school where students have the opportunity to deepen their spiritual faith while earning a Liberal Arts or professional degree on campus or online.
Located in Atlanta, Georgia, with campuses throughout the state, Shorter’s academics lead to bachelor’s and master’s degrees in such fields as Business, Arts and Sciences, Nursing, Education and Fine and Performing Arts.
To offer maximum access, particularly to working adults, Shorter also offers a number of courses online.
For those who do choose to study on the Atlanta campus, opportunities to strengthen spirituality and build lifelong friendships are offered through campus ministries, academic and special interest student organizations, and the school newspaper.
Academic advising, career and personal counseling, tutoring and support for disabled students are some examples of services offered at Shorter.
Admission requirements for first-time students include submission of an application, transcripts, proof of a high school diploma or GED and SAT or ACT scores.
Financial aid is available to qualifying students who need help paying for tuition and other expenses.
