Description

Located in Emmitsburg, Maryland, Mount St Mary's University was founded in the Catholic tradition to provide quality academic programs while supporting the spiritual growth of each student.

Bachelor’s degrees can be earned in most traditional majors, including Biology, Business, Environmental Science, Gender Studies, Nursing, Psychology, and Theology. Mount St Mary's also offers pre-professional programs in Law and Medicine.

Graduate degrees can be earned in four fields: Business Administration, Health Administration, Education, and Teaching.

Exceptional students are encouraged to apply to the honors program, while students who are seeking a socially conscious environment might apply for the service-learning program, which integrates community service with classroom instruction.

Study abroad options are available to all qualified students. Programs are normally one semester long, and are located in Europe and Latin America.

Financial aid in the form of cholarships and federal grants can be awarded depending on need to help cover the cost of tuition.

Student life dominates campus activities, with student organizations, athletic teams, and campus ministry groups. Student support services, such as academic workshops, career advising, and counseling help students stay focused on their academic pursuits.

Mount St Mary's University is dedicated to providing a culturally enriched and spiritually in-depth academic environment.
