Trinity College is a Bible college located in Florida. Named Best Buy in private colleges and universities in the continental U.S. by Consumers Digest Magazine, Trinity College of Florida remains an institution for students seeking four and two year degrees. With alumni serving around the world in the areas of ministry, economic relief, business, education, government, human services, and communications, Trinity College of Florida is committed to impacting humanity.
Trinity College of Florida was founded as Florida Bible Institute in 1932 in Temple Terrace, Florida by Dr. William T. Watson, a tent preacher from North Carolina and pastor of a large Christian and Missionary Alliance church in St. Petersburg. Dr. Watson believed that it was God who was leading him to establish a Bible College for the training of Christian workers. The name was later changed to Trinity College in 1947.
Well known evangelist Billy Graham enrolled at Trinity College in 1937 and graduated in 1940.
The college is accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education.
Students of Trinity college are instructed to believe the Bible is the word of God. The College believes that the Bible is the basis for Christian life, and that only the Bible can be used as a framework for a correct worldview, lifestyle, and service to the Abrahamic deity.
