Description

Everyone has different goals in mind when it comes to college. Maysville Community and Technical College realizes this, and offers educational opportunities to serve a variety of needs. Whether you seek professional training, an academic education or personal enrichment, MCTC has a program for you.

MCTC’s academics include several associate’s degree, diploma and certificate programs. Some of these, like Automotive Technology, are designed for immediate entry into the workforce. Others can be used to transfer to a four-year institution.

The school also maintains a strong connection to the local economy through its business training and licensure programs. The Maysville Regional Entrepreneur Center provides assistance to area business owners, and the Assessment Center helps local industry with employee evaluation.

In addition to government financial aid programs, MCTC offers scholarships based on merit, need and other criteria. For example, the KCTCS John T. Smith Scholarship is awarded to minority students with at least a 2.5 GPA who plan to transfer to a four-year college.

Maysville Community and Technical College has an open-door admissions policy. Anyone with a desire and drive to learn is welcome to apply. Before registration, the school must have your high school transcript or GED certificate and ACT or COMPASS scores on file.
