Description

Finding the time for classes is one of the biggest challenges for adults pursuing further education. At Moultrie Technical College, convenience is key. The college is easily accessible, with four campuses located throughout southern Georgia. If commuting is problematic, Moultrie also offers many of its programs online.

Moultrie Technical College’s academics include more than 140 diploma, certificate and associate’s degree programs. The school offers training in the following fields:

*Allied Health
*Business and Computer Technology
*Personal and Public Services
*Technical and Industrial Technology

Admissions to Moultrie is a two-step process. To apply to the school, you must be at least 16 years old with a high school diploma or GED. Once admitted, you can determine which program you want to pursue. Admission requirements are different for each program, however, and getting into Moultrie does not guarantee admission to a specific program.

To help its students find gainful employment, Moultrie’s Career Services staff provides job search assistance. Among the services offered are resume building, job fairs, up-to-date listings and various workshops and counseling.

Financial aid is available to those who qualify. You should fill out the FAFSA to find out if you’re eligible for need-based federal programs like grants, loans and work-study. Moultrie also participates in state programs like the HOPE Scholarship.
