Loraine’s Academy is a Florida beauty school dedicated to providing a thorough cosmetology education. Loraine’s offers a basic 1200-hour program in Cosmetology, designed to meet state board requirements while teaching additional skills.
In addition to the 1200-hour program, the academy offers the following specializations:
- Cosmetology with Advanced Styling Bootcamp (1350 hours)
- Cosmetology with Facial (1500 hours)
- Cosmetology with Nail Tech (1500 hours)
An Instructor Training program is also available. This 600-hour course is ideal for currently licensed cosmetologists who want to teach at a beauty school.
Loraine’s Academy offers financial aid to eligible students. Those who qualify can apply for need-based federal grants, loans and VA benefits. Partial-tuition scholarships are also available. The school also has payment plans for those who don’t qualify for need-based aid.
The academy is located in St. Petersburg, a vibrant community in the Tampa Bay area. St. Petersburg gives you close access to Tampa’s world-class entertainment and dining, as well as local attractions like the Salvador Dalí Museum and Major League Baseball’s Tampa Bay Rays.
