College Advice |
Question: Spencerian College(louisville) graduates/students, your opinions please!?I'm considering spencerian college for my phlebotomy certificate, but after some research, i've heard some pretty bad reviews. this is very disheartening, because this is basically my only choice for this program where i live. can someone please shed some light for me? is it worth the 1hr 20 min. drive? if i dont go there, i basically cant persue this career. i dont wanna go through all that trouble, and have employers look down on me for going there when i go to find a job. I have already looked into my local community college, and all other colleges that are in feasible driving distance from me. It is the only one I could go to for this. :(19 months ago
Best Answeri went to spencerian, i will be completly honest with you.. it is a great school, they take good care of you and provide exilent education BUT if you go, make sure there is nothing chancing you to switch, because you cant. their credits DO NOT transfer to ANY other college or university, unlike community colleges or state. they have great advisors, and really help you, but make sure you know all of your stuff before signing those papers becuase i decided to switch careers, and wasted about 5000 at spencerian (on 3 months of education) because they dont offer education careers and the credits i took will not transfer to jcc. i personally would recomend jcc, unless you have scholarships or rich parents who are paying for it,. |
