Description
Olympia, Washington is home to The Evergreen State College, where students can earn their bachelor’s or master’s degree in around four years. The college offers full-time, evening and weekend, and study abroad programs.
There is a wide selection of majors for students to choose from, including interesting subjects like Agriculture, Business and Management, Computer Science, Environmental Studies, Law and Government Policy, Marine Science, Maritime Studies, Media Arts, Psychology, and Writing.
The Student Academic Support Services Center has lots of resources for students to use in order to succeed in their coursework. Academic advising is available for guidance assistance. There is also a career development center, health and counseling center, and writing center.
The student life of Evergreen consists of many student activities, which intersect with the interests of the student body and include a community radio, athletics, recreation, art galleries, performing and media arts, and the Cooper Point Journal.
At the beginning of February, the single application for scholarships is due. Other financial aid options include loans, grants, and work study programs for those who qualify.
