MCCN Description

Mount Carmel College of Nursing, one of the largest in its region, offers hands-on personalized training through traditional and innovative programs and excellent opportunities for its graduates.

Located in Columbus, Mount Carmel offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Nursing. There are also specializations in Nursing Education and Nursing Administration. In addition, Mount Carmel offers a dietetic internship program.

In addition to its traditional program, Mount Carmel also has a unique accelerated program for students who already have a bachelor’s degree in another field, allowing them to receive their degree in Nursing in a shortened amount of time. There is also an online RN program.

While the Mount Carmel Health System is one of the largest healthcare providers in Ohio, classes at Mount Carmel remain small and therefore offer personalized learning.

Since Mount Carmel is affiliated with a medical facility on-site, students have the opportunity to engage in hands-on practice of what they learn in the classroom.

Financial aid is offered to eligible students through scholarships, loans and grants. Students may also receive tuition reimbursement after working in the nursing field for a designated amount of time.
