Founded in 1987 by a team of experienced educators, our mission is to offer quality education to our students. SCIT is an independently run, distinctive college located in the city of Anaheim, California. We provide students with the opportunity for successful careers and fulfilling lives with an alternative approach toward education that emphasizes individualized attention and learning by doing. One indicator of the quality of our programs is the success of our over 8000 alumni.
SCIT has been educating people, just like you, for 19 years. we focused our attention on the local community. We are real people providing real training and most importantly, real jobs. SCIT is a small community based college that focuses on each student and prepares him or her for an exciting career in many different fields.
SCIT provides a leaning atmosphere that develops attitudes, disciplines and skills that are consistent with the needs of local communities and today's demanding pofessional environment.
Success begins with opportunity. By offering our students an education that combines the heavy hands on training typically found in trade schools, the affordability of a junior college and the option to earn a bachelors degree, SCIT gives students an opportunity to:
* Earn a diploma and enter in their new career in 7 months
* Gain on the job experience while continuing school
* Pursue an advanced career by earning a bachelors degree
Our instructors offer a different approach to education based on years of experience and that promotes both academic and personal growth.
Our curriculum are designed, in part, by program advisory committees of industry leaders who understand the demands of the industry and regularly make recommendations regarding curriculum, equipment purchases and program enrichment.
At SCIT we believe the best way to learn is by doing. Our curriculum requires students to work on real-world business and engineering projects in a small, team based environment. The learning environment allows students to easily ask questions and interact with both classmates and instructors in labs that simulate industry standards and practice.
Southern California Institute of Technology is located in the vibrant and rapidly expanding community of downtown Anaheim, in the heart of Orange County.
