CCC Description

A member of the State University of New York (SUNY), the Corning Community College (CCC) in Corning, New York, is truly a college for the community. Its extensive and diverse array of educational, professional and social opportunities aim to meet the needs of Corning and New York citizens, as well as the communities themselves.

To honor this commitment, the school offers a wide range of non-credit and credit courses to the citizens of its three-county service region in areas like nursing, pharmacy technology and computer information systems.

Studying at CCC is easy and convenient. Students may pursue academics in liberal arts, business, science and career programs at the Spencer Hall campus, various locations throughout the three-county region or even online from the comfort of your own home.

The Student Life Department ensures that social and cultural events are always happening on campus. Guest performers, lecturers, demonstrators and spoken word artists are only some of the exciting personnel the school welcomes.

To accommodate the needs of its diverse student body, the college offers a number of organizations that’ll help you make friends, develop professional skills and gain networking contacts as you participate in their events.

Applicants who apply online will have their application fee waived. As an open admissions school, the college encourages all students at least 16 years of age to apply. Students must submit their official high school transcript or GED.

To qualify for New York tuition rates, students must submit a certificate of residency. All eligible students have access to financial aid through scholarships, New York Tuition Assistance programs, federal grants and student loans.
