MCC Description

Mohave Community College (MCC) in Kingman, Arizona offers college transfer programs and training for highly marketable careers. But that’s not all: the Kingman campus of MCC also has a variety of arts and cultural offerings.

With additional campuses located in Lake Havasu, Bullhead City and Colorado City, MCC grants degrees in careers that are in demand. These include associate’s degrees in Chemical Dependency Therapy, Dental Assisting, Nursing, Paralegal Services, Physical Therapy Assistance and others.

Training is also offered in technical and industrial fields such as Automotive Service Tech, Computer Support Services, Truck Driving and Welding.

For students who wish to transfer to a four-year university, there are two year degree offerings in general education studies and liberal arts and sciences. The Kingman campus houses classes for these and other programs.

Kingman also houses much of MCC’s cultural events. Theatrical and musical performances as well as visual art exhibits are all held at the Kingman campus.

A library, bookstore and computer lab may also be found on the Kingman campus.

Students at all MCC campuses may benefit from the school’s support services. These include free tutoring and supplemental instruction, career and academic counseling, services for disabled students and more.

MCC grants financial aid to eligible students through various sources, which may be discussed with a financial aid counselor.
