Description

One of the first technical schools in Oklahoma, Autry Technology Center has been providing extremely low-cost career training to individuals of all ages for more than 40 years.

Located in Enid, Oklahoma, Autry has more than 50 additional campuses throughout the state.

Autry offers programs for high school students as well as adults, all of which prepare students for in-demand careers such as Cosmetology, Welding and various healthcare professions.

All students interested in attending Autry Technology Center must first meet with an Autry counselor who will help them to clarify their career goals and appropriately select a major. Once enrolled, students may continue to benefit from career counseling services, which will help them to refine their interview, resume-writing and job-search skills.

Student organizations, which include a Skills USA group and the Business Professionals of America organization, also help students to gain expertise in their field.

Since the per-class cost for county residents costs little more than a cup of coffee in most places, the program tuition is about as low as can be. Should students still require financial assistance to assist with the cost of attendance or class materials, they may apply for federal financial aid with the help of an Autry Technology Center counselor.
