Penn State Description

For an outstanding educational experience at both a Big Ten university and quaint small campus, you should consider the Pennsylvania State University in Mont Alto, Pennsylvania.

More than 160 undergraduate academics are offered at the university. You can take advantage of the personalized attention of a small campus with the research resources of a large university as you study Business, English, Human Development and Letters, Arts and Sciences, among other programs.

To get involved in the close-knit community, the school offers a number of student life opportunities, including student activities and social events, multicultural affairs, trips and special events like Spring Fling, Fall Fest and the Easter Egg Hunt.

The Multicultural and Student Affairs organizations work together to enhance your life outside of the classroom by bringing in cultural acts like jazz artists, Caribbean steel drum music performers, Native American Heritage Piscataway Indian Nation singers and dancers and African story tellers. Despite its small size, you can experience cultures from all over the world right on campus.

The university works with private organizations to offer numerous scholarships opportunities to students who excel academically. To explore scholarships and find out what you have to do to apply, you may consult the school’s website.

Detailed Ratings

Penn State has been under fire the last couple years with scandals. When visiting Penn State Mont Alto, I had a sense of security. It was interesting to see the diverse student population. I am from a small town and I feel like Penn State is a good transaction. It is beautiful scenery in a forested area. I think It's a beautiful school with many things to do in your down time.
