Description

South Plains College in Levelland, Texas offers career and academic degrees, including numerous pre-professional programs.

South Plains’s academic offerings include over 100 programs of study leading to professional degrees, transfer degrees or career certificates.

Its pre-professional degree programs are especially noteworthy. These include Pre-Veterinary Science, Pre-Medicine, Pre-Dentistry, Pre-Chiropractic, Pre-Physical Therapy and Pre-Occupational Therapy.

The pre-professional option is particularly appealing because it is still a relatively new type of offering and therefore not yet that common in colleges. Pre-professional programs are also extremely valuable, cost-effective and give students a chance to test the waters of a particular field. The majority of pre-professional programs take two years to complete.

South Plains offers study in a range of other subject areas as well. These include business, communications, nursing, arts, humanities and sciences among others.

Distance learning options include online classes and classes via interactive two-way video.

In addition to one-on-one assistance from instructors, students may benefit from such student services as career and academic counseling and financial aid, which is available to those who qualify.
