Description

A two-year institution, James A. Rhodes State College functions primarily as a vocational school. Its associate’s degree and certificate programs provide training for careers in allied health, nursing, business and information technology.

Some of Rhodes State’s classes are open to exceptional high school students. The Post-Secondary Enrollment Options and Concurrent Enrollment programs are great ways to get a sense of what college is like while you’re still in high school.

Recently, the school has expanded its academics to include AA and AS degrees. These degree programs are intended for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college. The credits you earn from these programs will transfer to any school in the University System of Ohio.

In addition to federal financial aid, Rhodes State College offers institutional scholarships. You can apply for these awards by filling out the STARS Online Scholarship Application by March 2. Decisions will be mailed in early May.

Rhodes State College recommends that all prospective students tour the campus before applying. During your tour, you can meet with an admissions counselor who will answer any questions you might have about the school.
