Question: Help on deciding between two Colleges?

Rhodes vs Ohio State Here are some of my opinions about the situatition: Really like both since they gave me some scholarships :P 1.OSU is more football and school-spirited school with a great city i.e. Columbus. Osu offered me the Honors Program, but I might get distracted by the sports and the community. Oh yeah, OSU seems a little more lively and funnier than Rhodes. I really like the atmosphere of Ohio with all the concerts and people. 2. Rhodes has a smaller pop and great teachers, so there is a better learning environment. Also, It is close to my house and it looks really nice. Oh yeah, I want to go into med, and I think rhodes has the right atmosphere for studying and staying focus. The bad thing is Rhodes is a liberal arts school which offers fewer majors than OSU. Additionally, Rhodes stated that it has 95% accpetance rate for med school if the student displays a 3.3 GPa and 26 on the MCAt. It has a kool city--Memphis--but there are a lot of gang activities. I just finished grad school at OSU, and have a friend at Rhodes, so I know a little about each. A general opinion: smaller liberal arts schools are better for undergrad, bigger places like OSU are better for grad school. At big schools, most of the teachers are focused on graduate school, and most undergrad classes are taught by grad students. You only need one major, so if Rhodes has the one you want, go for it. If you absolutely need something more specialized, like you want to learn Arabic as an undergrad or something, then you do need to go to OSU, but otherwise save the big place for grad school. OSU has an awesome med school. If you do decide to go to OSU, though, let me know, cuz I have an apartment there for rent. Good luck to you.
