Ivy Tech is a public community college that serves the following counties and regions of Indiana: Blackford, Delaware, Grant, Henry, Jay, Madison and Randolph.

The school prepares its students for the workforce or for transfer to four-year universities. It has certificate and associate’s degree programs in the following types of fields: Automotive Technology, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Medical Assisting, and Paralegal Studies.

In addition, there is a dual credit program offered to high school juniors and seniors who want to get a head start on higher education classes. Courses are designed in a way that gives students credit toward high school and college degrees.

There is a free online application process for admissions. Federal financial aid is available to those who qualify, and applications can be submitted online at no charge. Institutional scholarships are also awarded to those who apply and are eligible.
