Description
A barbering school with a long history, the Michigan Barber School, Inc. of downtown Detroit, Michigan has been training students in the art of hair styling since 1947.
While some beauty schools will have programs in a number of fields, Michigan Barber School focuses solely on barbering, putting all of its efforts into providing its students with the skills and experience they need to succeed in their barbering career.
The school's barbering program requires a total of 2,000 hours and offers day or evening options, allowing students to potentially complete the program in 14 to 18 months.
Tuition covers the cost of books and materials. While Michigan Barber School does not supply student loans, it does accept the Pell grant and veteran's benefits for those who qualify.
