Related by faith to the United Methodist Church, Louisburg College is committed to offering a supportive community which nurtures young men and women intellectually, culturally, socially, physically, and spiritually. As a two-year residential institution, we provide a bridge for students to make a successful transition from high school to senior colleges and universities.
The faculty at Louisburg is dedicated to the success of every student. Teaching and advising - not research - are our professors' primary responsibilities. Our dedicated faculty provide individual assistance, ensuring that each student is academically prepared to meet the requirements of major four-year colleges and universities. Faculty members keep generous office hours; most provide home phone numbers and e-mail addresses. You will not find graduate students teaching classes at Louisburg - only caring and concerned faculty members.
Students can take advantage of many opportunities outside the classroom. Along with numerous clubs and organizations, students can enjoy the performers who come to the campus, such as rock bands, rap deejays, and comedians. Raleigh, North Carolina's capital, is just 30 minutes away, and Durham, the City of Medicine, is only 45 minutes away, giving students a host of entertainment and cultural options.

Question: Transferring from a junior college after 1 yr?ok you know a junior college is only 2-years. Is it possible i can transfer to a university after just 1 year at that school. The school is louisburg college. I really need to know this info. thanks.8 months ago
Best AnswerIt is possible, but keep in mind, other transfers finish at least 2 years worth of general education credits. They can go in and focus on courses for their major right away. You still need another year of general education... |
