Graduates of Lake Technical College in Eustis, Florida have a high record of success in their professions.

Through its more than 25 programs, students train to work in such professions as Nursing, Firefighting, Corrections, Paramedics and Office Administration.

Its apprenticeships in Commercial Foods & Culinary Arts and Early Childhood Education are additional training options that give students the chance to work in their particular field while still in school.

The job placement and employment rate of Lake Tech grads from various departments is a point of pride for the school, according to its website.

A specific example of this success can be seen with those who go through Lake Tech’s Culinary Arts program and go on to become chefs at respected restaurants and resorts both throughout the area and in other locations.

Those applying for Corrections, Emergency Medical Technology, Paramedics, Law Enforcement, Firefighting and Practical Nursing will need to meet certain application deadlines. Those applying to most other programs may apply at any time and begin the following week. Requirements vary from one department to another.

Tuition is lower for state residents who have lived in Florida for at least a year. Students may also apply for financial aid.
