The University of Maryland has a large campus in Baltimore, and The University of Baltimore is also a large 4-year college within the city. There are several other 4-year colleges in Baltimore as well:

There is also a nearly endless supply of history lessons to be learned about Baltimore, which, for starters, is where the United States National Anthem “The Star Spangled Banner” was penned.

Beaches are less than an hour away, too, but the months to visit are limited by weather.
